What, Why and Who?


What is the Ladies Auxiliary (LA)?  A group of women who provide support to Branch 254 by catering events to raise funds for non-profit groups. Catering on site for up to 100 people (company events, life appreciation, special meetings, etc). In November the LA hosts the 'Festive Bazaar' in the Fireside room at the Yukon Inn. 

Why is the Ladies Auxiliary separate to the legion?  This branch of the legion is for women to share ideas, values and purpose. There is a bi-annual convention in the spring for BC/Yukon branches.

 Who can join the Ladies Auxiliary? It is open to any woman who would like to be part of a dynamic organization that fosters community involvement. The application process starts with attending a meeting, registering and paying the registration fee and then you are on the contact list the LA. 


When does the LA meet?  

The group meets the first Monday of most months at 5:45 at 503 Steele street (upstairs in the lounge). The meetings last for 90 minutes and are followed by a mini-social.    Hope to see you there!

Next Meeting: December 15 , 2019 from 1-3pm. This will also be the election for the 2020 Executive
